Whenever I wear my silver metallic Chanel Reissue 225 bag, I get asked about styling tips because of how shiny and "out there" this bag is.
You might be also thinking metallic bags are hard to style but hopefully by the end of this post you will have more ideas on how to wear it. It's actually quite fun & easy!
I got my Reissue bag for a very good price on the preloved market. While some metallic bags might be more delicate because of the finish, this particular Reissue is quite durable. Apart from one or two small scratches, there is absolutely no wear on it. So it is good to keep that in mind that some metallic bags can show wear more easily or be hard to fix before splurging on one.
Alright... let's move on to different ways you can style silver metallic bags.
All White
If you want your bag to blend in with your outfit so it doesn't look super flashy, the simplest way to style a silver metallic bag is by wearing an all white outfit.
With Grey
My second favorite way is by wearing grey.
There is something beautiful about the paring of metallics with greys.
All Black
And last but not least, wear your metallic bags with an all black outfit!
This will really make the bag stand out. Even if you're wearing a simple little black dress, a metallic bag will be enough to complete that look.
While neutrals do look amazing with metallic bags, so can color! I have worn silver metallic bags with baby pink and baby blue outfits. Pastel tones and metallics really compliment each other well in my opinion.
On the other hand, I would probably not wear this bag with warmer tone clothes, such as brown or rose tones. But at the end of the day to each their own. If mixing silver with rose works for you, go for it!!
